11.5 percent of University of Maine at Farmington students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 11.5 percentage of University of Maine at Farmington students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

University of Maine at Farmington has 1,811 undergraduate students, of which 66 percent are women and 34 percent are men, and a total student body of 2,080 students. Of these students, 109 men and 131 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at University of Maine at Farmington with the most participants are soccer (46), track and field, outdoor (40) and basketball (30).
