Name: Exhibition Opening – “ART AS ANTIDOTE: White Mountain Landscapes”

As the only historical organization devoted to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of the entire White Mountain Region of New Hampshire and Maine, the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society will officially open “ART AS ANTIDOTE: White Mountain Landscapes” on July 6th in conjunction with the Bethel Art Fair. Featuring more than 50 landscapes in oil and watercolor of the famed “Alps of New England,” this will be the most extensive public art display of its kind in Maine in 2019!
Paintings dating as early as the 1820s will be on view in the Howe Exhibit Hall at the Dr. Moses Mason House, Thursdays thru Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm through August 31. (Admission by donation.)
