Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber recently issued the following announcement.

HOLIDAY AFTER HOURS AT BAR HARBOR BANK & TRUST

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Bar Harbor Bank & Trust 2 Main St , Topsham

It’s our annual seasonal party, as we invite all of you to join us at the Holiday After Hours at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust at 2 Main Street in Topsham from 5pm to 7pm.

This is our only annual After Hours, and has become our de facto Holiday party where we hope to see all of our members for a festive good time. A key activity at the event is the Gingerbread House Judging Competition. To be clear, we don’t get to participate (some people were upset about this last year) but rather the staff members of BHBT compete with each other for the bragging rights of best house. Though they accept judging for two weeks, normally our attendance at this event greatly sways the balloting. It’s a great way to get engagement in your business with a friendly competition and they have been doing it for years.

This is also a tremendous time to say thanks for a wonderful year and to take a look at what 2020 will bring. We will be giving a recap of the inaugural Midcoast Tree Festival (which will end a few days prior) and we will talk a bit about the workforce programming we are looking to implement in 2020 as well as a few other surprises.

We know December gets hectic with so many get-togethers, but we hope you will find some time to join us for this very special After Hours. Even if you can only stay for 20 minutes, we’d still love to see you. Cheers!
